Madison SecureBox service provides a free-online file storage and collaboration service to store ePHI.  It is available for UW–‍Madison staff to share ePHI data with collaborators (internal and external to UW–‍Madison) when a departmental solution is not available and the amount of data to be stored is less than 50GB. For data sets greater than 50GB, consider using Research Drive.

The SecureBox Service is not intended for use as a file transfer method. Please see the Globus service to fulfill this need.
