As UW–‍Madison’s core research computing center, CHTC supports a variety of scalable computing capabilities, including high-throughput computing (HTC), tightly-coupled computations (e.g. “MPI”), high-memory, and GPUs. Research Computing Facilitators provide personalized consultations for new users, online learning materials, email-based support, and drop-in office hours for help. CHTC is also home to the HTCondor Software Suite (HTCSS) and a portfolio of research in distributed computing with far-reaching collaborations, including the NSF Partnership to Advance Throughput Computing.
