Active Directory Migrations: May project updates

Campus Active Directory
The Active Directory (AD) Migrations team has been working diligently to help departments migrate into Campus Active Directory. Here are some recent updates and milestones, plus a look ahead at what’s on the horizon for the project.

Recent progress

  • Quisitive began preparing for a June migration with the Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences.
  • Quisitive began migration testing with the School of Human Ecology.
  • The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology (ObGyn) inventoried devices that must be migrated in preparation for a DoIT AD Team-guided migration.
  • Updated the process for independent migrations status tracking. Details: Independent Migration to Campus Active Directory.

What’s ahead

  • The DoIT AD team will begin migration support for ObGyn with a target of pilot testing by the end of June.
  • Quisitive will begin migration support for the Department of Psychology by mid-June.
  • UW Board of Regents 4th quarter AD Migrations project reporting.
