Active Directory Migrations: March project updates
The Active Directory Migrations team has been working diligently with departments that want to migrate into Campus Active Directory (CAD). Here are some recent updates and milestones, plus a look ahead at what’s on the horizon for the project.
Recent progress
- Extended our contract with our third-party vendor, Quisitive, to give us more time to negotiate a longer-term AD migration support agreement as we wrap up our 8-week discovery and planning engagement.
- Kicked off pre-migration work with the Department of Pathology and the Department of ObGyn
- Created a rough migration schedule for the next 12-18 months for providing staffing resources (either from Quisitive or the CAD team) to departments who requested migration support.
What’s ahead
- Finalize a long-term migration support contract with Quistive
- Quisitive will begin providing migration support to scheduled departments
