Active Directory Migrations: July project updates

The Active Directory (AD) Migrations team has been working diligently to help departments migrate into Campus Active Directory. Here are some recent updates and milestones, plus a look ahead at what’s on the horizon for the project.
Recent progress
- Quisitive-guided migrations for the School of Human Ecology, Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences, and Department of Psychology are ahead of schedule. We anticipate all will be finished in September or earlier.
- Quisitive began early onboarding for the Department of Neurology and the Department of Geography for August or September migrations.
What’s ahead
- The Quisitive team will begin migration support for the Population Health Sciences Health Innovation Program (HIP) in late August.
- The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology (ObGyn) and the Department of Pathology aim to begin migration in mid-August or September with guidance from the DoIT Campus Active Directory team.
- Received and incorporated feedback from Cybersecurity on the recommended Active Directory domain decommission process. The process documentation will inform departments how to decommission their old Active Directory after they’ve completed their migration. We plan to continue to refine the process and recommendations over the next few months by collaborating with recently completed departments.
