Learn@UW Newsletter, week of December 20

What’s happening?
Honorlock – Enhanced Session Viewer
Honorlock released an update to its Session Viewer. The feature will now open in a new tab, facilitating easy review of exam flags with a side-by-side screen view. This upgrade will also allow instructors to:- Open multiple exam sessions at once
- Bookmark particular exam sessions
- Easily share exam sessions with other exam administrators or reviewers
Google – Age-restricted access coming March 2025
Starting March 2025, Google will restrict access to additional services (non-core app examples include YouTube and Google Analytics) for users under 18. Access is restored once they turn 18. It is believed this change will affect fewer than 300 UW–Madison Google Workspace accounts. Affected users will receive this targeted communication starting in December. Learn@UW–Madison will monitor the situation and assess its impact on our centrally supported tools. As information becomes available, we will provide necessary updates through various communications, including this newsletter.Important fall semester dates & deadlines
