DesignPLUS: coming November 2025

Beginning November 4, DesignPLUS will be available in Canvas through the Learn@UW teaching and learning suite of tools.

What is DesignPLUS?

DesignPLUS is a time-saving tool that allows instructors and course designers to build and style high-quality Canvas courses that make learning engaging and accessible for all students. The main feature of DesignPLUS is the Sidebar, which allows you to quickly create beautifully designed content in the following areas of Canvas:

• Content Pages
• Assignments
• Discussion Descriptions
• Classic Quizzes Descriptions
• Syllabus
• Announcements

DesignPLUS also features the Multi-Tool, which can help you set up modules fast, as well as the Upload/Embed Image Tool for uploading, cropping, resizing, and embedding images right inside your Canvas course.
