Nominate your exceptional colleagues for the 2024 IT Recognition Awards

We work with excellent people who do awesome things. Help your colleagues get the recognition they deserve by nominating them for the 2024 IT Recognition Awards! Submit a nomination Now in its 5th year, UW–‍Madison’s annual IT Recognition Awards honor our colleagues who excel at what they do and strengthen our IT community. Nominations are due by Sunday, May 5. You can choose from 7 award categories when making your nomination:

• Community engagement
• Diversity, equity and inclusion
• Lifetime achievement
• Rising star
• Team achievement
• Transformational achievement
• Unsung hero

All UW–‍Madison academic staff and university staff working in the information and technology fields are eligible. A selection committee of IT peers from across the university will review all nominations and select this year’s winners. For more details about the awards and how honorees are chosen, review the awards descriptions and scoring rubric. You can also review our guidelines for nominators for tips on writing a good nomination letter. The 2024 honorees will receive their awards during a ceremony at the IT Professionals Conference on May 30.
