UW brand font transition explained

Danielle Cranmer and Kelly O’Loughlin from University Marketing talked about the new university typefaces (Red Hat Display and Red Hat Text), the timeline and plans for transitioning to the new fonts, and the resources and templates they’ve made available.

• Crimson Pro is a recommendation for print only long-form pieces
• Information on Lato from the UW Brand website
• Because Red Hat is a slightly larger font than Verlag, consider making the body copy a size or two smaller.
